A small, black rescue dog called Milo goes missing on Kangaroo Island. Join him on his adventures as he hides from the police dog Sergeant, explores the beautiful island landscapes, meets the local wildlife (yes, some kangaroos of course!) and learns a few lessons along the way.
Written and illustrated on Kangaroo Island, this colourful children's picture book captures the best of the island's natural beauty, unique characters and landscapes.
With proceeds from every sale going towards supporting wildlife and conservation on the island, don’t miss out on your copy!
Louise is a landscape architect (and now part-time children’s book illustrator and writer) who has always used graphic communication and drawing as a way of communicating her own design ideas and stories about people and places in projects around the world and across regional Australia.
The book has been inspired by her own island adventures, love of animals and capturing moments with her camera across Kangaroo Island. When she’s not working, Louise can usually be found in the outdoors either running, surfing or exploring with friends or Milo.
